Nuuduu opens public beta to accelerate physical AI data collection
Partner announcement
Nuuduu is a data supplier on Kinetic Blocks and a partner of ours. This announcement was written by Nuuduu and edited by Kinetic Blocks.
A Kaunas-based startup launches a fully integrated platform connecting real-world service work, AI-annotated training data and developer-driven collection.
As humanoid robots move toward real-world deployment, access to high-quality, diverse training data is becoming a critical challenge. Nuuduu is addressing this with the public beta launch of its physical AI data platform, developed over three years to increase the clock speed of the data collection loop.
Real work, verified quality and shared incentives
At the heart of Nuuduu is a no-commission gig work marketplace covering more than 50 service categories. Professionals perform real assignments for paying customers while using the Nuuduu Capture app and a head-mounted smartphone to collect egocentric video, motion and sensor data.
Unlike conventional data collection operations, Nuuduu can assess workers through their actual professional performance. Customer ratings, completed assignments and work history provide additional quality signals for selecting skilled and reliable data collectors.
Nuuduu shares revenue from training data sales with both workers and customers. Workers are rewarded for contributing demonstrations, while residential and business customers are compensated for allowing data collection at their properties and workplaces. This creates an incentive for participation and supports obtaining appropriate consent, enabling access to diverse real-world environments that are difficult to reproduce in laboratories.
Increasing the clock speed of physical AI
The gig work marketplace is what makes Nuuduu’s collection model different. Rather than organizing dedicated data collection sessions, the platform can direct new data requirements toward future service assignments that workers are already available to perform.
Through Nuuduu Atlas on the web, CLI or SDK, robotics developers can search existing datasets and submit collection requests specifying tasks, locations and other requirements. These requests can be distributed immediately to suitable workers, allowing new demonstrations to be captured as relevant service assignments take place.
Incoming recordings are automatically segmented, AI-assessed and annotated, then prepared in robotics-ready formats including LeRobot, MCAP and HEVC video.
The loop: identify missing data → request collection → capture real work → AI processing → train → repeat.
The objective is to minimize the delay between identifying missing training data and obtaining new demonstrations, without repeatedly recruiting collection teams or setting up dedicated recording environments.
Expanding collection and distribution
Nuuduu is expanding its collection operations internationally, initially targeting Bangladesh, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway and Sweden.
An important partner in this effort is Kinetic Blocks, whose robotics data marketplace and quality evaluation capabilities complement Nuuduu’s collection and processing infrastructure. Together, the companies aim to give data vendors additional distribution and quality assessment opportunities, while providing buyers with better access to real-world datasets and the ability to request new demonstrations when existing data does not meet their needs.
Public beta and next steps
Nuuduu’s complete technology platform is operational and now available in public beta, including the gig work marketplace, iOS and Android capture applications, automated data processing, Nuuduu Atlas and developer CLI and SDK tools.
Following three years of development, the company’s focus is now on scaling its worker network, collection operations and dataset inventory, while building relationships with robotics developers and data buyers.
Nuuduu is currently raising a €500,000 pre-seed round to support this expansion and accelerate commercial adoption. Robotics developers looking for real-world demonstrations, and investors who want to back the data layer of physical AI, can reach the team through nuuduu.ai.
Nuuduu’s certified datasets are also listed on Kinetic Blocks, verified and graded by our quality engine.
